Christmas.

Christmas. What is it all about? Is it about the stuff? Is it about the food? Is it about the People? Or is it about only two people? The most important thing about Christmas is two people, you and Jesus. The only reason we have Christmas is you and Jesus. If we didn't have you and your sin then there would be no reason for Jesus to come to earth. Also if we didn't have Jesus there would be no life after death. So with out Christmas we would all be screwed... So I hope you all have a very merry and blessed Christmas season (all twelve days!)

Nuns

This was sparked be a thread on Catholic Answers Forums. ( A great site for anyone who has a question about the Catholic faith, or who just wants to hang out with other Catholics.)
I'm going to be a nun. He called me when I was only 12 and I was not very grown up in my faith and didn't get what this really meant. Like a lot of people I thought it was just about what I had to give up, no dating, no husband, no sex, no kids, no wedding dress Etc Etc. When I was confirmed I matured in my faith quite a bit and I came to see what being a nun really means.
It's not about giving up all those things because even though those things are hard to give up, I am getting so much more out of it. I, me, little old Betsy I get to be the bride of Jesus Christ and that is so amazing that he loves me so much he wants me to marry Him!!!! This is something that is very hard for me to explain bescause it is so huge that there really aren't words out there to say what it is about. Also I get a foretaste of Heaven because in Heaven we will all be brides of Christ. I get to live out what life will be like in Heaven... How AMAZING is that!!!! PLUS I get to spend my whole life for others and get to live with a bunch of other women that also are living the same way...SWEET!!!!
